Summer Program

Make summer memories!

Seven Hills Summer Program is where kids explore passions, chase adventures, and make forever friends. We can’t wait for all the exciting summer fun to begin!

Summertime at Seven Hills!

Summer adventures never end at Seven Hills! Our summer programs are open to kids ages 3 through 16, from June 14 to Aug. 13. New experiences, great adventures, and lots of fun await! Registration for a program will end the THURSDAY before the program begins. Limited spaces are available, so register soon so programs don’t fill up!

Our Programs

Early Childhood Honeybees
(ages 3-4)

The Honeybee program is designed for pre-kindergarten-age children. Keeping this age group in mind, weekly themes are specifically designed for a fun, relaxing summer while still implementing academics into the framework. This program aims to support your child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. With low student-teacher ratios, engaging themes, projects, recess, and a mid-morning snack, each day offers unlimited opportunities for learning and fun! Seven Hills teachers Julie Brackett and De’Yana Jackson are lead teachers in the Honeybee program. Children must be toilet trained to attend. The morning themes extend into the afternoon as children build upon the morning projects and enjoy outdoor water play, a mid-afternoon snack, and nap/rest time. Lunch may be brought from home or purchased for $30 per week

(ages 5-7)

Our Stingerbee summer program provides nine weeks of exciting learning opportunities. Campers expand their imaginations and knowledge through a variety of enriching, academic-based, hands-on activities. The focus of the weekly themes is having fun in a relaxed summertime atmosphere. Stingerbee campers will also take time to enjoy a mid-morning snack and recess. Teachers Becky Swain, Anne Simpson, Megan Budde, and Connie Howard are lead teachers in the Stingerbee program.

The afternoon program is an extension of the morning weekly themes. Afternoons include exciting enrichment programs offered by experts from the local community, including in art and science. Swimming takes place two days per week at nearby Losantiville Country Club (children are transported by The Seven Hills School bus). Lunch may be brought from home or purchased for $30 per week.

Create Your Own Summer
(ages 7-12, Middle and High Schoolers)

With our Create Your Summer format, children may select specific enrichment programs to pursue their interests, or discover new ones. Our age-appropriate group offerings share many of the same aspects of our school—it’s hands-on, adventurous, energetic, creative, and offers a full spectrum of activities throughout the summer.

middle and upper experience

With our Middle and Upper School Experience format, campers may select a morning enrichment session of their choice, and then choose to stay for our new afternoon experience, The Swarm. Our age appropriate offerings are similar to Seven Hills’ school year—hands-on, engaging, energetic, and creative. The summer offers a full spectrum of activities for rising fifth-graders through eighth-graders to enjoy.

The Swarm

Join us in the Swarm from 12:30-3:30 p.m. each afternoon for a distraction from the ordinary. Meet up with friends who you haven’t seen since the school year and meet new ones! Spend time playing games, sports, going on trips, and making new social connections. The group will collaborate to select activities and truly create their own experience. While each week will be designed around the students’ interests, highlight Tuesdays and Thursdays will feature a planned trip each week.

Our COVID-19 Safety Protocols

The Seven Hills Summer Program follows all Seven Hills School protocols, as indicated at, including safe mask wearing, social distancing, and hand hygiene. Guided by our COVID advisory board of physicians and epidemiologists, we continually implement the latest National and local health authority COVID protocols, as circumstances evolve.
