Early Care and After the Bell
At Seven Hills, we know the length of a typical day is different for each of our students and their families. We offer before-school and after-school care programs for students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Our Doherty and Hillsdale Campuses both open at 7:30 a.m. and don’t close until 6 p.m.
BEFORE SCHOOL CARE Before school care is offered, free of charge, for students age 2 through grade eight starting at 7:30 a.m. AFTER THE BELL During our after school program, After the Bell, your child may participate in:
After the Bell is available from 3-6 p.m. on both our Hillsdale and Doherty campuses. Lower SchoolOur younger Lower School students have a fun place to play, learn, and explore in our programs. Whether they’re learning an instrument, pursuing special interests, or spending time with friends, students will enjoy these after school options. 2023-24 After the Bell registration (encore club after school care, enrichment programs, holiday care, music lessons) will be released in late July. *NEW* All programs are pre-registered, not invoiced later. Lower School Encore Club afterschool care is from 3pm to 6pm. We will be offering annual and daily pre-registration this year, however drop in care must be scheduled in advance, and will incur a late fee if your child is not pre-registered. Enrichment programs for the 2023-24 school year will be released by late August. Offerings will be available for pre-K & K (no pre-K 2) and 1st-5th grade throughout the year. Sessions are typically six weeks, and are offered in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. Music Lessons for Lower and Middle School: Piano, voice, and violin lessons will be available for registration when the school year begins. Middle SchoolMiddle School students staying on campus past 3:15 p.m. and until 6:00 p.m. have an opportunity to join Encore Club at no additional cost and may also participate in music lessons. Lower School Programs (Pre-kindergarten through Grade 5)
Students keep their minds and bodies active in Encore Club. Early Childhood and Lower School children are grouped by grade-level and our dedicated staff plan an exciting array of activities that include art, games, and active play. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy time with friends following a busy day of learning. We offer a flexible fee schedule with annual, daily, and hourly options.
Lower School Fees
Students with an interest in music can register for a variety of lessons, including piano and stings. Music lessons are available for students starting at 5 years of age through fifth grade. Our talented teachers offer lessons on a weekly basis during the school year. Lessons are scheduled based upon teacher availability. Sessions are $30 for each 30-minute, private session.
MIDDLE SCHOOL (GRADES 6 THROUGH 8)
The Middle School Encore Club provides students an opportunity to gather with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Students can choose to do homework or other quiet activities in the Middle School commons.
Middle School students can explore their musical passions at after-school music lessons. Our teachers share their talents for piano and stings in classes held on a weekly basis during the school year. Lessons are scheduled based upon teacher availability. Sessions are $30 for each 30-minute, private session.
