It's Your World
The purpose of this course is to expose students to quarterly global issues that are relevant and meaningful in order to help them grasp complex and multifaceted global concerns. In order to truly understand these issues, students will be asked to personalize these topics to demonstrate their understanding and offer potential solutions to these challenges.
In this course, students may:
- Cover topics of migration, climate change, global health, and social justice
- Utilize academic skills, such as note taking, effective use of technology, research, critical reading and writing, goal setting, and time management
- Engage and connect with Cincinnati-based civic leaders outside of the classroom to personalized their learning
