YARN BOMBING

Fifth-graders on the Doherty Campus added bursts of color to their campus garden as part of a yarn bombing art project in Donna Breitenstein’s art class. “I asked the students to wrap colorful yarn tightly around bamboo sticks. We later installed them in the garden,” said Breitenstein. “As the leaves fall and the color in the trees diminishes, these art pieces will add bright splashes of color to the landscape.”
