Unit I investigates Pumpkins

Unit I students in Joan Claybourn’s class conducted a Halloween-themed investigation into pumpkins. After discussing the attributes of their pumpkins, the students measured the pumpkins’ heights and circumferences, weighed them, and estimated the number of seeds that were inside them. After the seeds were counted, the students wrote a letter to Chef Dominick about roasting them, which he happily agreed to.
