Animal Classifications

Unit I students recently launched into a unit on animal classifications. “We started with mammals,” said Unit I teacher Amy Kulhavik. “The students will learn all about what makes a mammal a mammal, as well as details of their lifecycles,” said Kulhavik. Students will then research an animal of their choice and present their findings in written format. “The students will share their research with the class,” said Kulhavik. “We will be using an iPad curriculum app called PebbleGo to do our reading and research before moving onto amphibians.”
