Our Programs

The Honeybee program is designed for pre-kindergarten-age children. Keeping this age group in mind, weekly themes are specifically designed for a fun, relaxing summer while still implementing academics into the framework. This program aims to support your child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. With low student-teacher ratios, engaging themes, projects, recess, and a mid-morning snack, each day offers unlimited opportunities for learning and fun! Seven Hills teachers Julie Brackett and De’Yana Jackson are lead teachers in the Honeybee program. Children must be toilet trained to attend. The morning themes extend into the afternoon as children build upon the morning projects and enjoy outdoor water play, a mid-afternoon snack, and nap/rest time.

Our Stingerbee summer program provides nine weeks of exciting learning opportunities. Campers expand their imaginations and knowledge through a variety of enriching, academic-based, hands-on activities. The focus of the weekly themes is having fun in a relaxed summertime atmosphere. Stingerbee campers will also take time to enjoy a mid-morning snack and recess.

The afternoon program is an extension of the morning weekly themes. Afternoons include exciting enrichment programs offered by experts from the local community, including in art and science. Swimming takes place two days per week at nearby Losantiville Country Club (children are transported by The Seven Hills School bus).

Is your child making the transition to first and second grade and feeling not quite ready for our second throuhg sixth grade camp group? Hive Flyers is for you! This program includes two morning classes everyday with a recess or movement break between them. The morning classes provide a preview of the structure found in our second through sixth grade group, known as Create Your Summer. In the afternoon, your child can enjoy more traditional summer camp activities, including swimming, special enrichment classes, and sports.

Swimming sessions occur twice a week at the nearby Losantiville Country Club, and transportation is provided by The Seven Hills School bus.

With our Create Your Summer format, children may select specific enrichment programs to pursue their interests, or discover new ones. Our age-appropriate group offerings share many of the same aspects of our school — it’s hands-on, adventurous, energetic, creative, and offers a full spectrum of activities throughout the summer.

With our Middle and Upper School Experience format, campers may select a morning enrichment session of their choice, and then choose to stay for our new afternoon experience, The Swarm. Our age appropriate enrichment offerings are similar to Seven Hills’ school year — hands-on, engaging, energetic, and creative. The summer offers a full spectrum of activities for rising fifth graders through eighth graders to enjoy. During The Swarm, participants will meet up with friends who you haven’t seen since the school year and meet new ones! Spend time playing games, sports, going on trips, and making new social connections.
