What is ParentSquare?
ParentSquare is a communication platform used by Seven Hills coaches and our Parent Community to communicate directly with other parents through posts, direct messages, and group conversations.
How is ParentSquare different from Veracross or the Seven Hills app?
ParentSquare is a two-way communication platform that parents can use to communicate with coaches and the Parent Community.
Veracross and the Seven Hill app are not tools to communicate back and forth with other members of the community.
How do I activate my account?
Parents/guardians/caregivers are automatically connected to ParentSquare but must activate their accounts to receive text messages and app notifications.
To activate your account, follow the activation link in the email invitation you received from ParentSquare or go to https://www.parentsquare.com/signin and on the right side of the screen in the “Sign Up/Create Password” area, enter the email address or cell phone number that you have on file with the school.
I feel like I am receiving too many notifications. What can I do?
We recommend setting your notification preferences to Digest. Digest means you will only receive one email, text, and/or app notification a day with a summary of all posts from that day. See step three under “Getting Started” above to read about how to change notifications.
What happens if I am a parent/guardian/caretaker or staff member and I do not activate my ParentSquare account?
You will receive emails from the district at the email address we have on file for you, but you will not receive text messages, app notifications, or any phone calls and will not be able to customize any of the message settings as outlined in this FAQ.
Can I contact teachers on ParentSquare?
No, please continue to email if you need to reach your child’s teacher.
