Dazzling the Audience at Doherty Drama Night

Doherty kindergarten through Unit II students delighted their peers and parents as they showed off their drama skills during Doherty Drama Night. The night showcased the progression of what the students learned in Lower School drama teacher Natalie Bird’s classes. Kindergarten and Unit I performed page-to-stage plays, acting out the plots of “Somebody and the Three Blairs” and “Giraffes Can’t Dance.” Technical theater elements of costumes and props are introduced in Unit I and Unit II. The Unit II students showed off their scene work, acting out scenes with lines they had memorized from the play “Totally Red!” Congrats to all the Doherty performers!
