Upper Schoolers Complete May Terms
During the week of May 22-26, the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors at the Upper School completed one of 17 May Terms, which are a week-long course or trip focusing on a specific topic. The students worked on engines, met with chefs who specialize in various foods, painted a mural, explored Hamilton County Parks and landmarks, met with the Ohio Innocence Project, recorded songs and movie trailers, and learned about animal behavior at the Cincinnati Zoo and Newport Aquarium. The Gullah-Geechee Cultural Immersion Trip took students to explore sites in South Carolina and the world languages department took students to Italy, France, and Spain to practice their language skills and learn about another culture.
