Upper School Students share Personal Challenge Projects

Scattered throughout the Upper School, students shared their Personal Challenge Projects ranging in topics from creating an art camp to beekeeping to creating an encyclopedia of dinosaurs. “The Challenge Project requires students to completely own and direct a piece of their educational experience and to face and overcome challenges in pursuit of their unique objectives,” said Director of Experiential Learning Karen Glum. Personal Challenge projects are a graduation requirement and students get to pick the topics and what the project will entail. “Always, students grow from these experiences. Often, students grow in ways they could not have foreseen,” Glum said.
