Science Spectacular

Saturday, May 9
10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Hillsdale Campus

Middle and Upper School students will be leading booths for our Early and Lower School students to take part in science-related activities. Please join us for an hour or the whole session!

Activities include hands-on stations across multiple science disciplines, interactive demonstrations, a nature walk, and native species planting project in our creek bed. We’ll also have food to purchase with a variety of food trucks, including coffee, food, and Kona Ice.

Science Spectacular is expanded version of the longstanding STEM Fair. Science Spectacular and Arts Alive are becoming alternating Seven Hills Special Events. We’ll be holding Science Spectacular this spring and Arts Alive in the spring of 2027.

Please park in lots A, B, C, and D. If you or a family member has mobility issues, lot D is the most accessible lot to reach the Welcome Tent.

The Welcome Table will be in front of The Schiff Center. Stop here first to pick up your passport for each station!

Science Spectacular is a family event, and we ask parents to attend with their children. Please establish a meeting location, in case you are separated from your child(ren) during the event. We recommend the Welcome Tent.

We’ll also have food to purchase with a variety of food trucks, including coffee, food, and Kona Ice.

The next Arts Alive is in Spring 2027. Science Spectacular and Arts Alive will alternate each year.

Special Events: Science Spectacular and Arts Alive

Science Spectacular and Arts Alive are alternating Seven Hills Special Events.

Arts Alive is the biennial celebration of artists and performers of all ages. Spread throughout the Hillsdale Campus, the Seven Hills community enjoys dramatic monologues, visual art, musical numbers, student-founded bands, dance routines, and so much more.

Science Spectacular is a new event in 2026. Middle and Upper students led science, technology, engineering, and ecology activities for Lower Schoolers in the Middle School, the Upper School science wing and computer lab, and various outdoor areas on campus. The event is a wonderful representation of the power of multiage learning and experiences in action.

The Science Spectacular was added to highlight the science curriculum as Arts Alive does for the fine and performing arts curriculum. Science Spectacular and Arts Alive will becoming alternating events. We’ll be holding Science Spectacular this spring and Arts Alive in the spring of 2027.
