Seven Hills School to Host HBCU Day College Access and Alumni Connection Reception

As part of HBCU Week 2026, a celebration of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), The Seven Hills School will sponsor and host the HBCU Day College Access and Alumni Connection Reception on Monday, Nov. 9.

The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. in the Seven Hills Upper School Library and will bring students, families, and HBCU alumni together for an evening of conversation, connection, and college exploration. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from HBCU graduates about their college experiences, ask questions, and learn more about academic programs, campus life, and the opportunities these institutions offer.

Open to the entire community, the reception is designed to help students and families connect with alumni and explore the many pathways available through higher education. Light refreshments will be provided. To RSVP, please email info@hbcuday.org.

“HBCU Day is a fantastic community initiative, and we’re excited for Seven Hills to be involved this year,” said Racheal Quinn, director of diversity, equity, and inclusion at The Seven Hills School. “We want all of our students to have access to the widest possible range of college opportunities. For students interested in HBCUs, this event is a great way to learn more, connect with alumni, and explore whether an HBCU might be the right fit for them.”
