Upper School instrumental concert

The Schiff Center was filled with the sounds of violins, cellos, flutes, and much more in early December during the Upper School’s Symphonic and Contemporary Ensembles concerts. The Symphonic Ensemble played six arrangements, including “Matador’s Tale,” “Genesis,” and “Christmas is Coming.” The group was joined by Upper School science teacher Lenore Horner on clarinet. The Contemporary Ensemble also played six arrangements, including jazz and soul standards “Evil Ways,” and “Bernie’s Tune,” as well as “Cubano Chant.” The evening was an amazing culmination of a semester of hard work. Congratulations to our student musicians and instrumental teacher John Rising!
