Three Seven Hills Students Accepted to Prestigious Exploratory Medical Program
Three Seven Hills students were recently selected to be a part of the TAP MD program, which is designed by The Health Collaborative’s TAP Health initiative, to help grow the next generation of health care professionals in the Greater Cincinnati Region. Juniors Robby Ligeralde, Aditi Purushothaman, and Manan Vij are among a handful of students selected to be part of the program, which is designed to “tap” into High School students’ full potential by fueling interest for careers within medicine and healthcare. “The TAP MD program is competitive in terms of admission so our students should be commended for getting accepted,” said Director of Experiential Learning Nick Francis. “It’s a great way to explore a possible interest in the field of medicine. I applaud these students for taking the time to discover if this is what they wish to pursue.” According to TAP, all student participants must be “strong academically, motivated, mature, and dependable.” Standardized test scores, grades, and extracurricular involvement are also among the factors considered by the selection committee.
