The Seven Hills School Announces Presidential Scholar Semifinalist

The U.S. Presidential Scholar Program recently named Natalie Choo a 2018 U.S. Presidential Scholar Semifinalist. Presidential Scholars are selected on the basis of academic achievement, personal characteristics, leadership, and service activities. The Presidential Scholars Program is one of the nation’s highest honors for high school seniors.
 
From nearly 3.5 million graduating high school seniors, more than 5,300 students were identified as candidates in the program, and only 630 semifinalists have been selected from across the country. Choo is part of the 630 semifinalists, from which the 2018 U.S. Presidential Scholars will be chosen.
 
Choo, a senior in Seven Hills advanced Spanish literature class, is also an accomplished vocalist who recently won finals for vocal performance at the Cincinnati Arts Association Overture Awards.
