Stingers Swim at State

The co-ed varsity swim team had an excellent showing at the state tournament Feb. 20-25. Junior Henry Stimson took fifth in the 100 breaststroke and seventh in the 50 freestyle. Sophomore Colin McNerneyfinished eighth in the 500 freestyle and 14th in the 200 freestyle. For the girls, junior Josie Schneider finished 14th in the 100 backstroke. The relay team of Schneider, freshmen Irene Zhang and Madison Zortman, and junior Raine Ellerman took 15th in the 200 freestyle relay. In the 200 medley relay the team of Schneider, Zhang, Ellerman, and freshman Avery Clayton finished 15th.
