Senior takes over announcement board

Senior Jack Holden has taken over operation of the Four Corners announcement board in the Upper School as part of his Personal Challenge project. “It is a great way for students to have more ownership over parts of the school and have more engagement,” said computer science teacher Marcus Twyford, who is assisting Holden with the project. The board was previously operated by Upper School teachers and displayed PowerPoint slides. Holden taught himself HTML coding and advanced to Java Script and web design, so the board is coded to pull information from different sources and display it for students as they make their way to class.
