Senior Receives YoungArts Award

Senior Jenny Hu was named a 2022 National YoungArts Foundation honorable mention winner in writing for her creative nonfiction work. “Jenny’s passion for and facility with the written word are remarkable for anyone, let alone a high school student. From deeply insightful literary analysis to breathtakingly beautiful prose, she always approaches her writing as both an artistic adventure and a skill to hone,” said Upper School English and creative writing teacher Caleb Paull. In addition to awards, YoungArts provides mentorship and creative and professional development to young artists throughout the country in 10 disciplines.
