Second graders build Ganges River

Second graders in teachers Danielle Necessary and Cicely Knecht’s classes began their research and construction on the Ganges River. Students from Knecht’s class learned more about the river and India from second and fifth graders Bhava and Bhagya’s mother Resheta Ramineni, who came to speak to the class about her home country. She discussed the river’s historic background and the spiritual connection she and many Hindus have to the river, along with other interesting facts.
