Pre-kindergarten-for-2-year-olds Learn about the Great Outdoors

“This is an outdoor experience at it best!” said pre-kindergarten teacher Julie Brackett, when describing the first few weeks of school with Seven Hills’ youngest students. “We are enjoying the opportunity of exploration in the great outdoors! Brackett said 2-year-olds inherently enjoy learning outdoors. Students worked in sandboxes, where they scooped, poured, shaped, built, and measured. “Our naturescapes are special because the 2-year-old students enjoy choosing where they will play and what their adventure will be,” said Brackett. “Our playground is full of imaginative opportunity with music panels, a hillside slide, and areas for gardening, climbing, and painting.
