Nest Building in PK2

The Doherty pre-kindergarten for 2-year-olds students learned about bird nests from visiting science teacher Barbara James. James did a retelling of “Owl Babies” by Martin Waddell and led the students through a nest building activity. While learning more about owls, the students built a nest and discussed what goes into it, like leaves, twigs, and feathers.
