Middle School Presents “An Evening of Scenes”
Middle Schoolers recently staged “An Evening of Scenes” in the Black Box Theater. The show was livestreamed for the audience. Middle School theater teacher Jacob Hauser said the play featured scenes and monologues in lieu of a full play. Each scene or monologue followed social distancing guidelines. “This production gave each student involved a significant chance to shine, which they did,” Hauser said. “Performing in the Blackbox also allowed our eighth-grade tech students the opportunity to design the lights for each piece. I was most impressed by how quickly they were able to bring everything together in the shortened rehearsal period of just four weeks.”
