Learning about electric cars

Doherty’s Green Team, an environmental club for Unit III students, got to learn about electric cars thanks to Doherty parent Nachy Kanfer, who works in the electric car industry. Using Kanfer’s Telsa, the students learned about how to charge electric cars , that the battery is similar to the one in iPhones, and that they charge like their iPad. The students asked questions and discussed the different models of electric cars, like the ones some of their families have. The club meeting wrapped up with a viewing of the Tesla Holiday Light Show, which made the lights, windows, and trunk move in beat with a Holiday song.
