Girls Basketball finished tied for Division crown

The girls basketball team ended the regular season tied for the top of the Miami Valley Conference Gray Division. The Stingers went 9-1 for in conference games and 17-3 overall. The team started the season with an 11-game win streak. Sophomore Margert Schnirring was nominated for Enquirer Girls Basketball Small School Player of the Week for having 12 points and seven rebounds in the Stingers’ win over Miami Valley Christian Academy on Jan. 29. Senior Priya Jenkins finished fifth in the conference on assists. The Stingers postseason starts on Feb. 12 against Norwood High School. Good luck, Stingers!
