Gardens at Doherty

Green Team had their first meeting of the year and got to check up on the sunflowers they planted last spring. Green Team is a student-led club for Unit III students that works to keep the Doherty Campus beautiful. The pre-kindergarten for 2-year-old students also got to enjoy the sunflowers on their first nature walk around the Doherty Campus. They also walked through the pumpkin patch and counted four big pumpkins. “We were delighted to see such a flourishing eco garden to take nature walks for the PK 2-year-olds,” said Julie Brackett, a PK2 teacher and advisor of Green Team.
