Fourth-graders experiment with force and energy

Fourth-graders built bumper coasters to advance their knowledge about force and energy in science teacher Kate LeBare’s class. Students used two marbles, one at the top of the bumper coaster and the other marble at one of three stationary points on the coaster, to test the stationary marble’s ability to stop the moving marble.
