Flying off to Cultural Connections
Doherty Airlines flight took off with the pre-kindergarteners to Cultural Connections destination: Switzerland. With the help of numerous Doherty teachers and Seven Hills faculty and staff, the students learned about airports and international travel as they got their tickets and passports checked, passed through security, were treated to an in-flight movie and snack, and went through customs once they arrived in Switzerland. Deemed just too young for air travel on their own, the pre-kindergarten for 2-year-old students were visited by pilot Capt. Robinson, who taught the students about his job and showed them the equipment and controls he uses to fly to places like Switzerland.
