First graders create winter vignettes

First grade students created winter vignettes in art teacher Jody Knoop’s class. First graders curled brown paper into trees and used cotton to make a beautiful winter scene. Students excitedly molded miniature deer barely larger than their fingerprint to add to their project. The finishing touch was a soft spray of silver glitter, giving the illusion of sparkling snow.
