Fifth graders create books dedicated to first grade buddies

Fifth graders wrote and illustrated picture books about the water cycle, ocean life, and more for their first grade buddies, as an end-of-unit project in teacher Kate LeBare’s class. Along with oceanic facts, fifth graders also incorporated some of their buddies’ favorite things, such as their nicknames, pets, and favorite colors.
