Creating Out of the Box

Students in Dana Pease’s Unit III class found inspiration in analog in early September, as they pulled cardboard boxes together and brought their own design thinking concepts to life. The students were prompted to create after reading the book, “Scribbles and Ink, Out of the Box” by Ethan Long. “At times like this, where students are feeling the pressures of the pandemic and the restrictions placed upon them, I think it is helpful for them to be creative and visualize stepping out of the typical routines,” said Pease.
