Cooper the therapy dog visits Doherty

Doherty students enjoy monthly visits from Cooper the therapy dog and his mom, former Doherty and current Middle and Upper School parent Britty Wiles. “These sessions with Cooper are a big part of coping and processing skills and we are so grateful to Britty and the Wiles family for sharing Cooper with our students,” pre-kindergarten for- 2-year-olds teacher Julie Brackett said. In addition to getting the opportunity to hug and pet Cooper, students assist in taking him for walks around the Doherty Campus.
