Boys Basketball wins Sectionals, advances to districts

The boys varsity basketball team won the sectional tournament, defeating Norwood 60-46, Georgetown 55-44, and #1 Madeira 60-51. The Stingers advanced to the district tournament and will face Preble Shawnee on March 2 at the University of Dayton. The Stingers ended the regular season with an overall record of 12-8, with an in conference record of 8-4. Coach Willie Hill reached 200 career wins this season with the Stingers beating St. Bernard-Elmwood Place 59-27 on Jan. 18.
