Aerospace engineer virtually visits seventh graders

Sophia Herrmann, an aerospace engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California, Zoomed with seventh graders from teacher Kirsten Suer’s class in mid-December. Herrmann discussed her journey to becoming an aerospace engineer, challenges she overcame as a young, biracial female scientist, and what it’s like to drive the Curiosity Rover on Mars.
