A Good Read
Students in Julie Guminey’s Unit II class recently took to the grassy lawn just outside Jones Hall to spread out towels and blankets and jump into good books. Guminey said the cool weather offers a great opportunity for students to take a mask break and maintain social distance while working through their literacy curriculum. “At least a couple times a week, we grab our book bins and our blankets and head outside to read,” said Guminey. “It’s a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather as we read independently.”
