Unit I Presents Poetry

Doherty Unit I students did an excellent job at their poetry presentation on May 9. The students in Amy Kulhavik and Joan Clayburn’s classes recited poems by poets like Shel Silverstein, Ken Nesbitt, Mabel Watts, and Dr. Seuss for their parents, guests, and pre-kindergarten for 2-year-old students. The Unit I students worked hard to deliver the poems from memory and incorporated theatrical elements, like props.
