Stingers Bowlers make history
Senior Shanaya Bharucha bowled a 523 at the district tournament, finished 10th overall, and advanced to the state tournament in Columbus, which will take place on March 3. Bharucha is only the second Stingers bowler to reach the state tournament and the first since 2018. She bowled a 433 and finished 16th overall at the sectional tournament to earn her place at districts. The varsity boys bowling team won the sectional tournament for the first time in team history. Senior Jonny Osman bowled a 624 overall and came in first place. Senior Eli Stanforth came in 11th and junior Elan Little placed 12th. The boys competed at a tough district tournament, finishing in 10th place. Little placed ninth overall.
