Pre-K goes out of this world!

To infinity and beyond! During their solar system unit, pre-kindergarten students in teacher Kiki Schneider’s class explored space by learning about the Milky Way, stars and constellations, and their characteristics. “After learning about space, students were very interested in astronauts and space engineers, so we researched what it takes to become an astronaut and also what astronauts are responsible for,” Schneider said. Students also designed their own solar systems and worked together to create a space shuttle for their dramatic play center.
