Important skills I want to teach my students

Most importantly, I want to teach my students to love music.

Teaching methods to reach these goals

I use various methods of teaching that include Orff and Kodaly. I choose many different styles and genres of music and incorporate as much instrument playing and movement as I can.

My favorite projects

I love to produce musicals and concerts with the students.

What I like best about teaching at Seven Hills

I love teaching at Seven Hills for several reasons. First, the opportunity for professional development. The school supplies technology, instruments, and funding to attend workshops and conferences. Second, I love working with other faculty in cross-curricular planning between subjects. Third, I love our students and parents.
