Early Care and After the Bell

At Seven Hills, we know the length of a typical day is different for each of our students and their families. We offer before-school and after-school care programs for students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. Our Doherty and Hillsdale Campuses both open at 7:30 a.m. and don’t close until 6 p.m.

BEFORE SCHOOL CARE

Before school care is offered, free of charge, for students age 2 through grade eight starting at 7:30 a.m.

AFTER THE BELL

During our after school program, After the Bell, your child may participate in:

  • Encore Club (every day child care)

  • Enrichment Programs (fall, winter, and spring programs offered)

  • Music Lessons

After the Bell is available from 3-6 p.m. on both our Hillsdale and Doherty Campuses.

Lower School

Our younger Lower School students have a fun place to play, learn, and explore in our programs. Whether they’re learning an instrument, pursuing special interests, or spending time with friends, students will enjoy these after school options.

2023-24 After the Bell registration (encore club after school care, enrichment programs, holiday care, music lessons) can be found in the Veracross Parent Portal.

Lower School Encore Club after-school care is from 3-6 p.m. We will be offering annual and daily pre-registration this year, however drop in care must be scheduled in advance through Veracross.

Enrichment programs for the 2023-24 school year are available for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten (no prekindergarten for 2-year-olds) and first through fifth grade throughout the year. Sessions are typically six weeks, and are offered in the fall, winter, and spring.

Music lessons will be available for registration when the school year begins.

Middle School

Middle School students staying on campus past 3:15 p.m. and until 6 p.m. have an opportunity to join Encore Club at no additional cost and may also participate in music lessons

Music lessons will be available for registration when the school year begins.

Lower School Programs (Pre-kindergarten through Grade 5)

Students keep their minds and bodies active in Encore Club. Early Childhood and Lower School children are grouped by grade level and our dedicated staff plan an exciting array of activities that include art, games, and active play. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy time with friends following a busy day of learning. We offer a flexible fee schedule with annual, daily, and hourly options.

Students with an interest in music can register for a variety of lessons, including piano and stings. Music lessons are available for students starting at 5 years of age through fifth grade. Our talented teachers offer lessons on a weekly basis during the school year. Lessons are scheduled based upon teacher availability. Music lessons are offered in five, eight, and 10 lesson packs. Please see our music lesson policy for more information.

Enrichment programs can include robotics, chess, movement, science, and dance.

MIDDLE SCHOOL (GRADES 6 THROUGH 8)

The Middle School Encore Club provides students an opportunity to gather with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. Students can choose to do homework or other quiet activities in the Middle School commons.

Middle School students can explore their musical passions at after-school music lessons. Our teachers share their talents for piano and stings in classes held on a weekly basis during the school year. Lessons are scheduled based upon teacher availability. Music lessons are offered in five, eight, and 10 lesson packs. Please see our music lesson policy for more information.
