Creating Conversations-“Screenagers”
- This event has passed.
September 28 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
After deciding that she was constantly debating screen time with her children, physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston decided to make Screenagers. The film, featured in national news, such as the The New York Times and Today Show, insightfully depicts the struggle happening in many homes across the nation to regulate the use of technology. Screenagers aims to offer suggestions for coming to terms with the powerful attraction of social media on children and parents alike.
Screenagers includes insights from thought leaders and scientists who present evidence on how screen time physically changes the brain. Our event will be guided by Seven Hills’ counseling department. For those families who would like to bring children, we feel the film is suitable for children age 10 and older.
