Congratulations to freshman Maggie Motch! Motch qualified for the girls varsity golf district tournament after placing 11th at the girls golf sectional, held at the Hamilton Elks Golf Club in late September. Districts will be Saturday at PipeStone Golf Course.
Athletes of the Week
The Athletics Department continues to recognize Middle and Upper School Athletes of the Week! These athletes are recognized around campus, at www.GoStingers.org, and on Seven Hills Athletics social media. An Athlete of the Week is not always someone who scores the most goals that week or starts every game, but is someone who exemplifies what it means to be a strong Seven Hills student athlete.

Seven Hills Welcomes New Lacrosse Coach
The Seven Hills School Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Frank Baverso as varsity head boys lacrosse coach. “I’m very grateful for the opportunity to be the head lacrosse coach at Seven Hills and excited to preserve the standard of what it means to be a Seven Hills student athlete on the field, in the classroom, and throughout the community,” Baverso said. Baverso’s coaching experience includes serving as varsity boys lacrosse head coach at Cincinnati Country Day School, Franklin Regional High School, and Cardinal Mooney High School. He worked as an assistant lacrosse coach at the collegiate level at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Mount Union. In addition, Baverso has served as head coach for the Cincinnati Royals/True and Resolute Lacrosse club teams and worked in the front office of the major league lacrosse team, the Ohio Machine. “Coach Baverso immediately brings a level of experience and knowledge to Seven Hills that will positively impact our entire program,” Athletic Director Scott Willard said. “Our community will be impressed with his work ethic, attention to detail, and his passion for both lacrosse and education.”
