Boys Varsity Golf Places Ninth at State
Congratulations to the boys varsity golf team for a great showing at state! In mid-October, the team finished ninth at the state tournament. Junior Jacob Joffe finished seventh out of 72 golfers at the tournament. Joffe also had the second best average in the Miami Valley Conference. We are #StingerProud of the team!
Cross Country Teams Running to Sectionals
The boys and girls cross country teams are having a standout season! The girls team won the Miami Valley Conference (MVC) Championship and the boys team placed second in the MVC in their category. Both teams moved onto districts, where the girls team placed third overall and the boys team placed second. Both teams will move onto sectionals, which will be held Saturday, Oct. 31. Senior Abby Heck is also having a great season. In addition to be named the Cincinnati Enquirer Athlete of the Week, she placed first at the Miami Valley Conference meet, with a time of 21:06.74. She also won the girls DIII 2020 District championship, with a time of 19:59.7.
Girls Varsity Soccer Team Wins in Upset at Districts
The girls varsity steam won in an upset against Reading High School, with the score of 5-1. Junior Mackenzie Hartman scored four of the goals during the game.
Senior Commits to Play Soccer at UVA
Seven Hills is #StingerProud of senior Scott Williams! Williams has committed to play soccer at the University of Virginia (UVA). Williams said soccer has always played an important role in his life and he has dreamed of playing the sport at a college and professional level. “UVA has always been one of my dream schools because of their incredible athletics and academics, so when I heard that they wanted me to come and be a part of their program I accepted their offer without hesitation,” he said. Congratulations Scott!
Middle Girls Tennis Team Wins Invitational
Congratulations to the Middle School girls tennis team! The team recently won the Cincinnati Country Day Middle School Tennis Invitational. Go Stingers!
