Squash team qualifies for Nationals
Seven Hills’ first official squash team traveled to Louisville to compete in the School Squash Scrimmage on Jan. 22-23. The team went 3-1 over the course of the tournament and qualified for the U.S. High School Team Squash Championship, which will be in Philadelphia in late February. The roster includes freshmen Lucie Pease and DeHaven Quinn, sophomores Aanvi Anand, Maggie Motch, and Victoria Quinn, juniors Happy Quinn and Christina Lafley, and senior Aanya Anand. Congratulations and good luck, Stingers!

Girls Basketball finished tied for Division crown
The girls basketball team ended the regular season tied for the top of the Miami Valley Conference Gray Division. The Stingers went 9-1 for in conference games and 17-3 overall. The team started the season with an 11-game win streak. Sophomore Margert Schnirring was nominated for Enquirer Girls Basketball Small School Player of the Week for having 12 points and seven rebounds in the Stingers’ win over Miami Valley Christian Academy on Jan. 29. Senior Priya Jenkins finished fifth in the conference on assists. The Stingers postseason starts on Feb. 12 against Norwood High School. Good luck, Stingers!

Stingers place third at MVC swim meet
The Stingers had a strong showing at the Miami Valley Conference swim meet on Feb. 5. The girls team finished third overall with many excellent individual performances. Senior Corinne Kieser won the 200 freestyle and placed second in the 50 freestyle. Senior Ella Jo Piersma won the 100 butterfly and placed second in the 200 individual medley. Junior Josie Domet won the 100 freestyle and finished second in the 50 freestyle. Junior Carolyn Wolujewicz finished third in the 100 freestyle with freshmen Josie Schneider and Raine Ellerman right behind in fifth and sixth place. In the 100 backstroke, Schneider finished second and Wolujewicz finished fifth. The relay team of Kieser, Wolujewicz, Domet, and Piersma won the 400 freestyle and finished second in the 200 freestyle. For the boys, junior Sam Adams finished third in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke.

Girls Bowling Heads to Sectionals
The girls bowling team finished fourth in the Miami Valley Conference for the regular season with an 8-5 in conference record. Junior Erin Finn was the individual points leader for the conference with an average score of 169.4 per game. The Stingers will compete at sectionals on Feb. 16. Good luck, Stingers!
