Doherty Celebrates Dot Day

Doherty students read “The Dot” by Peter Reynolds, a book that imparts the poignant message that anyone can be an artist — just start with a dot. On International Dot Day, students did a series of dot related activities, like creating digital art dots, building a dot sculpture, and covering the Doherty Campus in decorated dots. This year, Dot Day coincidentally fell on Pajama Day of the Homecoming Spirit Week, and many students wore polka-dot pajamas. Dot Day is an annual Doherty tradition. |
