Brief Word—June 9, 2021
Now that our closing ceremonies are behind us, I wanted to thank you, once again, for your extraordinary partnership during this very challenging school year.
We are proud of everything that our students have accomplished: their new academic skills, their growth in confidence and maturity, their deeper understanding of who they are and what they believe.
This year, especially, I am grateful to our students for all their hard work, their flexibility and resilience, their engagement in their learning, and, most of all, for their kindness to and support of one another.
I am grateful, too, to our extraordinary faculty and staff for all they have done to guide and support these young people over the past year.
And I am grateful for your efforts, as parents, in helping your children navigate these new challenges so effectively. We deeply appreciate all you have done to support your children—and the school—during the past year.
So, thank you, all, for making the 2020-21 school year so successful and so memorable.
Now, I hope that you and your children can take some time to rest and unwind this summer. We all need it!
We look forward to seeing you again in August!
