Stingers on the Football Field
Congrats to seniors Rex Shaffer and Max Brown, who both earned recognition from the Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference for football.
Shaffer is a kicker for Withrow High School and earned kicker and punter of the year from the CMAC. He led the conference in points for kickers with 62. He had a 95.9% extra point completion rate and an 83.3% field goal completion rate.
Brown is a center and defensive tackle for Taft High School and earned an honorable mention from the CMAC. Brown made 11 solo tackles and three assists this season.
Seven Hills students are allowed to play sports, such as football, for their home public school district if Seven Hills does not offer the sport, according to the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
