Junior Track and Field Team Member Featured on Channel 9

Seven Hills junior and varsity track team member Mackenzie Hartman was featured on Channel 9 News on June 3 for qualifying in four separate Division III state track and field events: the 100 and 300-meter hurdles, the 200-meter dash, and the long jump. Hartman spoke about her path to track as a sport, and what her hopes were for the outcome of the track and field event in Westerville. “Hopefully win the 100 and 300 meters hurdles, and maybe making the finals or placing in the 200,” she said to WCPO. “And placing in the long jump – those are my goals. But definitely winning the 100 and the 300.” At the event on June 5, Hartman placed first in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles, and first in the long jump, making her a three-time state champion. Congratulations to Mackenzie and the entire women’s track team!
