Boys Tennis Team Recognized by Local Athletic Association
The boys tennis team was recently ranked second in Cincinnati in the Greater Cincinnati Tennis Coach Association’s coaches poll. The poll ranked Division II teams from around the city. The Seven Hills boys tennis team is coached by Upper School science teacher Tim Drew. We are #StingerProud!

New Spring Sports Coaches Leading Teams to Strong Seasons
This spring season, Seven Hills’ three new head coaches are starting strong. Abbey Sir Louis, the girls lacrosse coach, Frank Baverso, the boys lacrosse coach, and Katie Tarter, softball coach, recently had their first wins of the season. The boys lacrosse team is also undefeated. “We are thrilled to welcome our new spring sports coaches to the Hive this year,” said Athletic Director Scott Willard. “They’re leaders on, and off, the field.”

Athletes of the Week
The Seven Hills Athletic Department recently recognized seniors Shriya Kilaru (girls lacrosse) and Catherine Kogan (softball) as Athletes of the Week. Each week, the Athletic Department, with the help of coaches, chooses an Athlete of the Week from both the Middle and Upper schools. These athletes are recognized at www.GoStingers.org and on Seven Hills Athletics social media. An Athlete of the Week is not always someone who scores the most goals that week or starts every game but exemplifies what it means to be a strong Seven Hills student athlete.

Track Athletes Break School Records
Members of the track team have broken several school records this season. At recent track meets, junior Mackenzie Hartman broke records in the 100 meter hurdle (with a time of 15.01), the 300 meter hurdle (with a time of 45.13), and the long jump (with a distance of 18’7”). Senior Dhruv Mahajan broke a school record in the 3200 meter race with a time of 9:55.9. Congratulations, Mackenzie and Dhruv!
