Retired CPS teacher teaches music and storytelling
Doherty’s pre-kindergarten for 2-year-olds classes learned about the guitar, storytelling, and more from retired CPS science teacher Barbara James. James is a beloved monthly visitor for the young students, who are always fascinated by her lessons. After teaching at CPS for 35 years, James spends her time writing, composing, and enriching the lives of students with her hands-on and visual learning techniques.
